We had a slight TV problem but it was fixed within 10 minutes of our call by a very friendly and capable service person. The AC worked well and was relatively quiet compared to some we've experienced. It was the right softness, but sagged a little. On a 1 to 10 scale I'd give the bed an 8. It wasn't perfect, but was clean and nice. The hotel room was pretty average for Vegas, nothing to shout about but nothing to complain about either.
We easily settled in and found our way around back and forth from the casino to our room, and out to the strip. It's not one of those casino traps that you can't find your way out of. The Mirage Casino interior is roomy, not too big, and the exits are easy to find. There are plenty of nearby shopping centers. There are high end properties next door, and there is a lower priced casino across the street for affordable gambling. The location is great as it is more or less the middle of the strip, between Ceasar's and Treasure Island. Two favorite things about this hotel is 1) the location, 2) the layout.
